4d1 Craig PerezOn Wednesday, February 10, the CCA's Archipelagoes Seminar will host Craig Santos Perez, an Associate Professor of English at the University of Hawaii, Mānoa. His talk will focus on the island of Guam, situating it within American and Atlantic Studies, and he will conclude his presentation with selections from his 2014 collection from unincorporated territory [guma'].

The event will take place in room 167 of the RUTCOR building (located at 640 Bartholomew Rd. on the Busch campus) and will run from 1:30-4:30. Food and drinks provided.

Guest Biography
Craig Santos Perez is a native Chamorro from the Pacific Island of Guam. He earned a PhD in Ethnic Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, and he currently works as an Associate Professor in the English Department at the University of Hawai'i, Mānoa. Craig is the author of three collections of poetry, most recently, from unincorporated territory [guma'] (2014), which received the American Book Award.
